Who We Are
We are Katy Classical Academy – a 5 day a week school that offers a collaborative partnership between our professional teachers and the parents of students. KCA is a unique blend of classical curriculum, Christian worldview, and a community of awesome families. Our program offers classes on Tuesday and Thursday, with work at home on the other days, similar to a university. If you are interested in exploring parent-guided education, we invite you to explore who we are.
At KCA, we want to partner with parents to teach, train, and inspire their children to be world changers and character witnesses of Christ, and to love learning. We aim to accomplish this through an environment that allows parents to spend more time with their children, and to have more input into their children’s learning.
The curriculum that we use at KCA is founded upon a Biblical worldview, and a classical education structure that emphasizes discussion and carefully selected classical literature. To this we add a rigorous science and math curriculum, and as much fine art and hands-on activity as we can pack into the years your children have with us.
We are accepting applications for the 2025-26 academic school year for a few open classes. Contact Admissions for more information. Should you have any questions about the admission process, the admission team is here to help! Please feel free to contact us to begin a conversation.

KCA Mission Statement
At KCA, our mission is to partner with parents in the education of their children.
We partner with parents as “co-teachers” of their students, seeking to love and glorify God, to help fulfill the Great Commission, to educate with excellence, to affirm, encourage, and equip our parents and students, and uplift our communities.
We seek to accomplish these goals through an environment that allows parents to spend more time with their children, using a five-day model: two days per week of in-person instruction and three days per week of satellite work at home. KCA is an honors-level curriculum founded upon a Biblical worldview.
Through the classical model of education, our goal is to expand students’ base of knowledge and to develop meaningful critical thinking skills and a love for learning. With the Lord as our guide, we are committed to equipping our students and families to be confident in what they believe and able to defend their faith with love, boldness, and assurance.
